Favorite Ride:

One of my favorite rides is about a 20 mile loop (ride it 3 times or more) on Block Island, which is 13 miles off the coast of Rhode Island. The Island wide speed limit is 25 mph. On the flats & descents we're faster than the locals, taxi's & rental scooters. Johnathan can chase down the scooters on the climbs. It is a rolling to hilly Island shaped like a pork chop, including a 1 mile climb from Old Harbor up to the Airport. They used to have a three day stage race out on the island.

My Commute:

Short fast sprint to work and taking a different longer way home. 2010 Cap City Cross - Finished 2nd over all for the Cat.1-3 Masters 45+. 2011 Cap City Cross - Finished 3rd over all for the Cat.1-3 Masters 40+ field.

Sun 8/19	33 miles	1.9 hr	PBS Sunday Morning Shop Ride - we got our first flat of the year. Still very fun ride with some new faces!
Sun 8/19	11 miles	42 min	Nice and easy on the way home from work. Went over the new train bridge. Looks like should soon be open for traffic.
Sat 8/18	6 miles	28 min	Zwift-Innsbruck-First time on the new course,lots of climbing! The rain outside has let up, so I am going to take a chance and ride to work.
Sat 8/18	9 miles	30 min	Commute to on wet to starting to dry roads. See if I made the right choice for this evening.
Fri 8/17	12 miles	49 min	Zwift - Watopia - Yay....another rainy day. A little Zwifting before work.
Thu 8/16	22 miles	87 min	Zwift - Watopia - Some Zwifting on a rainy day with a little help from Melvin.
